Mix a cup apple juice with a couple tbsp of your favorite pork rub.
Inject pork butt every 2 inches with mix.
Rub pork butt generously with your favorite pork rub. Let sit for 20 minutes.
Smoke at 225 for 4 1/2 hours.
Remove and double foil adding a cup of apple juice in the foil without spilling and completely closing the foil tightly.
Return to smoke at 275 temp for addition hours or until 205 internal temp.
Remove and vent for 10 minutes.
Pull the pork apart carefully.
Add BBQ sauce when serving.
